Yes! if you have no problem working with film, have a decent lab in your area and own a scanner, then by all means buy it. Its something truly wonderful....

I went back to digital because all of these assumtions were negative :-(

I have to look into labs in NYC, I scanners I see for 120 film are well in the hundreds. Yikes

well, this one was scanned on a flatbed actually (Canoscan 8400f). NOT a good one, but for preview and web/mail its plenty enough. For printing though, you will need a dedicated film scanner. Like Coolscan 9000 or something..... Look at it this way - you can scan on flatbed and when you really need a good scan, go to lab and pay this one frame to have it scanned on an Imacon or even drum scanner.
